|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is located west of LaFayette and northwest of Still's Cross Roads in the Woodshop Community. It is on the property owned by Mr. Robert Lee. This cemetery census was originally taken by Miss Novie Benton (deceased) of the White Plains Community in the 1960s.
The area known as Woodshop gets its name from two brothers who were blacksmiths in the community. In the 1850 Chambers County Census Willis A. Wood is listed as 22 years old and Francis Wood is 26. Both were born in Georgia. Their parents are John and Elizabeth Wood. It is said their shop was very near the site of the Jones Cemetery.
