There are two cemeteries used by the English settlers of Cass County,one, an acre on the John Dunn farm which was deeded to the trustees of the Grigg Chapel Methodist Church Feb.7, 1897 by Charles W. Dunn,son of John Dunn the emigrant. There is another burying ground on the Luke Dunn farm located on the bluff. (Owned by the grandson of Luke Dunn, A.T. Dunn in 1976).
"Griggs Chapel Church premises" consisting of one acre of land in Section 4, Township 18, Range 11 were transferred to the trustees of the Bluff Springs and Griggs Chapel Circuit by John Haywood March 24, 1896.
