|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
London Road Cemetery, situated at Mitcham, in the London Borough of Merton. This is a comparatively modern cemetery, set up in 1929. It is well-kept and attended and, as early as March, shows a riot of colour, with so many flowers left by those attending the graves. It is immediately opposite the green area known as Figges Marsh, and has sometimes been known by that name. The cemetery is open during the daylight hours, seven days a week. There are entrances on the London Road and Victoria Road. The sitation is about one quarter mile from Tooting Station. Vehicles are allowed access. There are public toilets but these are closed due to vandalism - March 2011.
