Cemetery notes and/or description:
Family Cemetery on Private Property

Entry upon the property is NOT permitted

Buried in this cemetery are members of an unidentified Brown family. All the graves in the cemetery are marked with fieldstones. The Brown family sold the property to the Rice family about 1838 therefore the graves probably date to the early 1800s. It is not known if this Brown family is connected to the nearby Jethro Brown family. However, based on land records and Jethro Brown's will that connection does seem possible.

General Location: Across the road from 1614 Rice Road. USGS Topographic Map depicts location of this cemetery.
