According to account on IAGENWEB:
This property was originally owned by Johannes(John) and wife Hulda (Helga Hansdatter Rodmyr Larson who emigrated from Norway. They donated one acre of their land for a cemetery.
Mormans emigrating from Nauvoo, Illinois passed through Adams County and stopped for a while. They buried some of their dead in this cemetery southwest of Rockdale School. |
