|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This is a maintained pioneer cemetery. The cemetery is the burial ground for the family of Heinrich Unruh an immigrant from South Russia (now Ukraine) who was born in the German State of West Prussia. (now Poland)
The burials were all done in the pioneer times and were probably without caskets. Four of the eight are male infants that did not survive the harsh and rugged times they were born into.
The young 16 year old girl, Eva Unruh, may have been an unrelated young person in the household who was hired to help with cooking and chores of a large family. This was quite common at the time. Lord only knows how she met her demise on a cold November when she "crashed into a well."
