|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This is an old cemetery across the river. On the coal company land.
Also known as the Hall Cemetery at one time and is located across the river from the mouth of Bias' Branch. There used to be two swinging bridges across the river, one at Secoal and the other below Bias Branch but the only way to reach this cemetery now is to walk the railroad track from Ramage or threw the river where the lower swinging bridge used to be. There have been no burials here for many years and the cemetery is in disrepair. This is only a partial list of people buried here. Many of the graves are unmarked. Some of the information is from an obituary or someone who knew that person was buried in this cemetery..
some records from R. Gilkeson from Beckley as he Recorded. My brother Carlos (80's) also went to the cemetery when he lived at Ramage and logged a list of names for our Mother. But I have gotten Most from death records
As a child I remember crossing the swing bridge or driving thur the river when it was low to visit the Hunter family that lived there.
