The East Point Georgia Firefighters Memorial is located on East Point St. at the corner of West Cleveland Ave. It stands in front of Fire Station #1. which has been placed on "out of service" status and is adjacent to the City Hall and Law Enforcement complexes. It stands in memory of firefighters who either died in the line of duty or passed away of other causes unrelated to duty. The listing is not complete and it is unsure as to if there are any plans to add more names in the future. As of present, the memorial consists of 39 names. |
