Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery is located between Chestnut and Readhimer, Louisiana. Going toward Readhimer on Hwy 9 turn right on white rock road (Kisatchie Forest Service Rd. #605) that goes to the Strange Road. Go 2.2 miles and turn left at marker WO 13-B. Bear to the right and go 1 mile. The cemetery is on the left. This road also goes to the Strange Road. The Williams are the only ones that have tombstones. About 26 years ago (1983) there were some graves marked with wood markers, but no names. Since then a fire has destroyed them. There were several graves. |
