"Located just behind and some distance from the Gibson Community Memorial Garden, it is known this area was used for the purpose of a burying ground long before the memorial garden was in existence. B. M. Burrow owned land in this specific area in 1877. And it is believed that this small, private cemetery served him and members of his family." Read by Jere Cox and Emily B. Walker May 3, 1993.
