|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is located on Conecuh County Road 17.
In former days the cemetery was known as Hampden Ridge Cemetery. Over recent times it became known as Ashley-Thomas, then Suddith (Suddeth), and later as Ashley-Anderson. There are no records available that indicate a timeline on which the names gradually changed. The cemetery is no longer in use, but is reasonably maintained by the Baptist church that stands on the opposite side of CR-17. There are some photographs in existence that are kept by Sherry Johnston of the Canebrake Historical Society, Conecuh County, Alabama. The original spelling of the name, Hampden Ridge, is known today as Hamden Ridge.
