Cemetery notes and/or description: Situated on the Old Burial Ground of Amos J. Yoder, Elk Lick Twp., Somerset Co., PA. Here is buried Peter Beatchy, the first original - form of spelling - Bitsche, also Pidgey in some old documents, He came to America from Switzerland in 1767. First located in eastern PA, later came to Somerset County. Date of his death is not known. He has thousands of descendants in Somerset and adjoining counties in PA, and Maryland, also in many western states. (Total 25 graves)
