Cemetery notes and/or description:
The Vaughan Cemetery was designated as a burial site in Isaac David Vaughan's will of December 26, 1876
" I will and direct that one half of my home tract of land be reserved for a burial ground, that said ground be neatly paled in at the expense of the estate. I appoint A. W. Vaughan, son, C. C. Haynes, son-in-law, and G. M.
Campbell, executors."

From Dewy Rose, Georgia, go West on Deep Creek Road four miles, turn right. Follow this road 5/10 of a mile or so. Bear right on an unpaved dirt road follow for 3/10 of a mile.
