|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Burial site of three members of the Jacob Hochstetler family, who were killed by Indians in 1757. They were buried on the home farm near Shartlesville, near where they fell. The bodies were rediscovered in the late 1700s, when digging a foundation for a new house, but were left where they were. The exact burial location on the present farm is uncertain, but probably near the foundation of the stone section of the house.
