Cemetery notes and/or description:
It is located approx. two miles south of Newcastle, Texas and approx. 1/2 mile east of Fort Belknap. At one time, there was a military cemetery just north of the fort, but in 1907 the graves were reinterred in the National Cemetery at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. |
