northwest corner of Old Samuel Huston Farm Silver Spring Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania USA Postal Code: 17050
Cemetery notes and/or description: Pine Hill Graveyard was once a well known and celebrated Graveyard located on the farm of Samuel Huston, and within the shadows of his home, a short distance from Silver Spring Presbyterian Church and accross the Conadoguenet Creek in what is now Silver Spring township. After the deaths of Samuel Huston's sons, John and Jonathan Huston, the farm was sold to outsiders (non-family). The graveyard left to the hardship of weather and free roaming cattle. The markers made of wood and field stones disapeared in a short time, only the memories of relatives passed down to decendents remain.
The Revolutionary War and War of 1812 Soldiers buried here are remembered on a plaque placed on the Gates of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church Graveyard.
