Giles Cemetery
The 2nd Monroe County Cemetery named Giles, it is in the Ballplay area of what was known as Tarriffville. It is off Hwy 360 (Ballplay Rd) & White Plains Road. Take a gravel road to the north of White Plains, about 1/2 mile to a fenced area on the west side of the road.
It is named for the 3rd son of Thomas & Nancy Lee Giles, Reuben. Reuben and his wife Dorothy (Dollie) Donohue Giles are buried there. |
