From center of Bishopville, travel approximately 6 miles south on U. S. Hwy. 15. Turn right onto 441 and continue to Woodrow. At the crossroads in Woodrow, turn right onto Rembert Church Road and continue for approximately 9 miles. Turn left onto St. Philip's Road and continue for about 2 miles; church and cemetery are on the left.

St Philip's Episcopal Church is one of the earliest churches in present-day Lee County, South Carolina, and is located on the old stagecoach road from Charleston to Camden. It is built on a three and one-fourth-acre tract that Henry Britton deeded to Peter W. Fraser, John A. Colclough, Alexander I. Tate, and James Gaillard for a church.
