|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
From downtown North Wilkesboro, head east on Main Street, heading for Highway 18 North, or Second Street Hill. Just past Smoot Park, turn east on River Road (there is a stop light), which will eventually turn into Liberty Grove Church Road. Go almost exactly 4 miles, and you will come up a small incline where the power lines go through the area. Just past the power line cut through, on the left, at the top of the small rise on the asphalt road that swings to the left, is the cemetery. In the winter, it is easy to spot; in the summer, you have to get out and look through the leaves. You have to walk up a medium embankment to get to the cemetery. When there in December of 2008, there are two orange plastic strips tied to the trees by the highway indicating the "entrance" to the cemetery.
