The following information is from Tennessee Records: Tombstone Inscriptions and Manuscripts (1933)(I have tried to include those unmarked graves in my memorials - J Hill)
Dickerson Road and Ewing's Creek Road, Davidson. County, Tenn.
The Hooper family burying ground is located about four miles from Nashville on Ewing Lane, approximately one-quarter of a mile from. the Dickerson Road.
Among the graves in this plot are those of Ennis Hooper RevoČlutionary Soldier, and his wife, Anne Young Hooper, both unmarked; their son, Claiborne Young Hooper; his second wife, Mary Ann Keeling Hooper; his third wife, Cynthia Wa1ker Hooper; several of the children of Claiborne Young Hooper; Martha Sugg Kee1ing, mother of Mary Ann Hooper and wife of Leonard Kee1ing; and graves of several relatives.
About half a mile distant, on the opposite side of the creek, is an older graveyard, located on land formerly owned by Capt. Joseph Hooper, another son of Absalom Hooper. Only one grave is marked, that of Martha. Hooper and her infant daughter. Martha Hooper was the daughter of Capt. Joseph Hooper and Elizabeth Sugg Hooper, and the first wife of Claiborne Young Hooper.
