|Fairfield (Washington County)|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery is on the original Wise homestead. The brick part of the house was built in 1790. The cemetery is about 200 yards behind the abandoned Wise home down a hill in a wooded area. You can see the tops of some markers from the house.
There are at least 38 marked graves with death dates from 1784 to 1930. There are other known burials that have no markers. Most are Wise family burials.
The cemetery is located in the central rural area of W. Bethlehem Township. It is not in the village of Fairfield in the SE part of the township. Findagrave required a city so one was entered.
