|on County Road 322|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery is enclosed by a chain link fence and surrounds the Sand Grove Church of Christ on three sides. There is a very nice gate and sign set back from the county road about 200 feet via a dirt road that goes beside the church. The cemetery sign is difficult to read from the road. Although the Church of Christ is said to have no association other than proximity, it has a sign that is easy to see, so many people have come to associate the cemetery with the church. The cemetery is not landscaped but is well maintained and is quite pretty when rain is sufficient for the wildflowers. Only the part of the cemetery toward the back appears to have been used.
The cemetery is about 5 miles south of the very small town of Milano, Texas, which is the post office address for most of the families represented in the cemetery. The cemetery itself is often associated in records with the considerably larger town of Rockdale 8.5 miles to the northeast, Rockdale being the historic market center for southern Milam County.
