|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
T14N R43E Sec 25
From Pullman drive north on Hwy 194W, turn left onto Klemgard Road and continue turning left or south onto Story Road at the next T in the road. The cemetery will be on the left side of the road in about a half mile.
This cemetery was established in 1877 as the Myers family cemetery. The farm which it is on was later sold to James L McMackin, and it is still owned by his family, per Darin McMackin. It is on a plot about 50' x 100' and is about as large as a huge pea field.
This cemetery is still active and is one of a very few untilled pieces of property in Whitman County. All of the graves are still dug by hand according to Mr McMackin.
There really is not a town of Ewartsville anymore, but it is the closest community to this cemetery. It is about 12 miles west of Pullman.
