|Field Hill Rd|
Rhode Island USA
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery is located on watershed for the Scituate Reservoir which is owned and operated by Providence Water Supply Board.
The road to it is an unimproved road that has 2 barriers across it, preventing driving up to the cemetery which is about 1/3 of a mile from the first barrier coming from the West.
There are “No Trespass” signs on both barriers forbidding camping, swimming and other activities however local residents do use the road to up past the hill to ride horseback, walk dogs and just for the hike.
The road splits at the first barrier. Park in front of the first barrier, hike up the road and bare left at the other split you will come to. Also another barrier. Continue up the hill and you will see the cemetery surrounded by a stone wall on your left when you have almost reached the top of the hill.
There are no telephone poles on the road so any reference one may come across to location by telephone pole is no longer valid.
