This is still an active cemetery, and is well-maintained as of April 2008.

Directions:
1. From Moran, Kansas
2. Go two and one-half miles south on US Highway 59 to Minnesota Road.
3. Turn west on Minnesota Rd. for 3 miles to 3400 St.
4. Cemetery is on the northeast corner of Minnesota and 3400.

GOLDEN VALLEY CEMETERY -- located south and west of Moran, Kansas, in the southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of Section nine, Township twenty-five, Range twenty.
********************
On December 22, 1908, Obed and Mary Kerr deeded to the Trustees of Golden Valley Cemetery Association, (Obed Kerr, Foster Funk, and I. 0. Morrison), one acre of ground to be used for a cemetery.
