A Poor Farm Cemetery on the banks of the Wabash River that contains the unmarked graves of the inmates that died at the adjacent County Home in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Most had no family, some had no known names. The Cemetery is now within the confines of Evergreen Park.
The Home was built in 1876 on 200 acres that were farmed by the inmates. Cemetery is enclosed by modern two rail wooden fence. -SixDogTeam
