Cemetery notes and/or description:
The location of this cemetery is south of Beowawe about one mile on highway 306, turn east after crossing the cattle guard. Cross Coyote Creek and continue for about three miles to the top of the hill.
From the site of this cemetery you have a beautiful view of the valley. Part of this cemetery is fenced. There are many unmarked grave sites, at least 16 large gravesites and at least five child size sites within the larger fenced in area.
West of this fenced area were at least 19 more sites marked with white crosses, and there's another small fenced area. |
