|Virginia Beach City|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This small family cemetery is located well out in a huge farm field just north of 5933 Morris Neck Road. The graveyard is on the west side of the road about half way between Stone Road to the north and Munden Road to the south. The graveyard is in a dense clump of vegetation with one large tree and can only be reached by walking across the farm field. This graveyard is in horrible condition and appears to be completely neglected. The two gravestones that were enumerated in the book, "Old Churches, Their Cemeteries And Family Graveyards Of Princess Anne County, Virginia", compiled & published by Laurie Boush Green & Virginia Bonney West, copyright 1985, page 228, but could not be found when visited in November 2007, may have easily been missed under the heavy and impenetrable pile of dead vegetation on the south side of the plot.
Until 1963 this part of Virginia Beach was then Princess Anne County.
Cemetery transcribed and photographed on November 17, 2007.
