|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Jollett Cemetery is erected by land once owned by American Revolutionary veteran Jacob Smith and his wife, Winifred Smith; Jacob's tombstone is the earliest recorded in the cemetery. Upon Jacob and Winna's death, the land was inherited by their youngest son, Gabriel. In 1866 it was purchased from Gabriel's widow and children by Rev. John Jollett, who had married Jacob's great granddaughter, Elizabeth Sarah Smith, in 1853.
Most of the burials in the Jollett Cemetery are descendants or relatives of Jacob and Winna.
