Prince Rupert's well maintained Fairview Cemetery is located at the West end of the city, nestled at the base of Mount Hays and overlooking the protective harbour. In use since 1912, many graves still have 'City cement markers', used until headstones are provided. Please note the 'death dates' given for Fairview Cemetery are often actually 'internment dates'. |
