Cemetery notes and/or description:
Located on Lightville Road, in Ohio Township, the North East Quarter of Section 25.
The first burial was in 1873 and the last in 1927. The cemetery was officially closed in 1948. It is known that there were 62 interments there, but only the names of 51 are known. The simple, wooden cross markers indicate where the burials are located, but it is not known who is buried in each individual grave.
This cemetery is also known as the "Saline County Farm" or "Saline County Poor Farm" although this is a misnomer, as not all people interred there were residents of the County Poor Farm (which was never located in this section).
