Cemetery notes and/or description: The Creasy Cemetery is located in a field on the right side of Snyder School Road in Mifflin Township, on the property of Franklin Ent. This is part of the 333 acre tract purchased by John Creasy Sr., August 21, 1795, from John Patten. Later, John Sr., on December 18, 1799, deeded 100 acres to this land to his son, Philip Creasy, and on the same day deeded another 100 acres to his son, Henry. Other members of the family are also buried here, some have no stones, others have crumbled away or are indecipherable. According to one record, a Peter Creasy and his wife Elizabeth (Creasy) Creasy, with several children, are buried here. Bricks originally marked their graves, but no longer remain. The cemetery is now overgrown with large trees and underbrush. (From the Columbia Co. Historical & Genealogy Society)
