Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery was just south of the Hendricks County Home and now north of the Danville Kroger. Remains were moved to Danville South Cemetery in May of 1982 to allow for the building of new US 36. All remains are now under one memorial stone.
Along with the internments listed here by name, there are also an unknown make infant (5-15-1914), an unidentified negro male (5-25-1911), an unknown male killed on railroad (1-16-1911), and 16 unknown persons buried here. |
