Cemetery notes and/or description:
The original cemetery was just south of the Hendricks County Home (now Cypress Manor) and just east of what is now the junction of Main Street and US 36 Rockville Road. The remains were moved to Danville South Cemetery in May of 1982 to allow for the rerouting and widening of US 36 from Avon to Danville. All remains are now under one memorial stone with 52 interments listed by name and 18 listed as unknown.
