Cemetery notes and/or description:
The old Baptist church, built ca 1820, somewhat hoary with age, not a large building, and without a steeple---an appendage it never had---in the rear of which is the old burial ground, with many old, and some new headstones. Approx. 179 burials. The Church was converted into a private residence, and permission must be granted before cemetery searching which is quite over-grown in some sections, cemetery is partly in rough shape. |
