Cemetery notes and/or description:
The Clark - Jones Family Cemetery sits approximately 25 yards south of Route 10 on the very eastern edge of Prince George County, VA. The cemetery sits approximately 15 yards from the stream that is the boundary between Prince George County and Surry County, VA. The number of grave sites marked only with rounded river rock outnumbers the sites marked by readable tombstones. All tombstones were photographed and posted here on November 27, 2012 with the exception of one tombstone whose name plate was missing. The burial sites which consisted of mounded dirt and rounded river rock were not individually photographed. (Ron Stewart - RoninNVA@cox.net) |
