|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery from the county records is probably the same as the Berryman. The Hollands and other family members listed here were white and were among the early settlers of what is today Grimes County. There are some stones still standing many of these are black families or possibly slaves.
To get to the cemetery you will travel East on HWY 90 towards Anderson, cross Holland Creek to County Road 447. Turn right, go up that road about 1/4 mile and the cemetery is on the right. There are no stones depecting the burials of Hollands. The names have been added from the County records. They arrived from Louisiana in 1822 and settled on Ten Mile.
