Cemetery notes and/or description:
The SAINT JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CEMETERY is located two blocks north of Main street, to the east of Interstate 35. It is situated immediately to the west of the Oak Hill cemetery. A row of trees that run north/south loosely defines the boundary between the two cemeteries.
The cemetery was established in 1900 after the first burial. You will find two signs at the cemetery entrance that identify the main cemetery and the St Gregory the Great Meditation Garden. The memorial garden is a newer, open frame structure which shelters the statue within.
