From Pollok, Angelina County, Texas, drive South West on Texas 7 West. Drive about 1.8 miles. Turn left on Old Homer Alto Road. Drive about 0.8 miles. Turn left under the Bodan Cemetery sign onto Bodan Cemetery Road. The road will dead end about 0.5 in front of the cemetery.
The oldest known marker is for Emma A. Chancey who died at the age of 7 years on 21 Jun 1870, however there is a cemetery marker that has "Bodan Cemetery 1850".
