Technically San Diego Cemetery is in Jim Wells County, Texas. The confusion as to whether San Diego Cemetery is in Duval or Jim Wells county is because the county line runs right through San Diego, Texas. So sometimes, San Diego, Texas is referred to as being in Duval county and sometimes in Jim Wells county. Approximately 75% of San Diego, Texas is in Duval county and it covers the west side of San Diego. However, San Diego Cemetery is in the far east side of San Diego and therefore in Jim Wells county. |
