Cemetery notes and/or description:
A very well maintained small pioneer cemetery which contains the final resting places of many town pioneers including the Tinker, Olney and Maltby families. The land was deeded to the town on May 1 1832 by Chandler Maltby, who is interred within its grounds. At the rear of the cemetery past the stones are many unmarked and fieldstone graves of early town settlers. |
