Cemetery notes and/or description:
The VanDine Cemetery, next to Immanuel Lutheran Church, commonly known as Katy VanDine's or Katy's Church, is located on Wolf Hollow Road near the intersection with Ants Hill Road north west of Jerseytown in Madison Township. The church dates to 1869 when it was part of the Lairdsville Parish. Burials in the cemetery date to that time. In 1925, a fence was constructed around it.
Although the church is no longer active except for occasional reunions or special church services, the cemetery is still in use. It has an active board which manintains the grounds. |
