Located off CR 7 (Back Creek Valley Rd.), N. of Ganotown at the intersection with CR 7/18 (Tub Run Hollow).
The original church was built in 1891 and named "Nels Chapel" for Rev. J. K. Nels who helped organize the congregation. The cemetery was established beside the church in the same year from land transferred from the Adam Kettering family.
The church was renamed Central Evangelical United Brethren Church. After the merger with the Methodists, they broke away and became an independent church in 1968.
Both the church and the cemetery have grown over the years, with the present church having moved across the street. The original building was located at the front of the cemetery.
