Directions to the Cache Creek Cemetery: Starting on the north side of Apache, Oklahoma, at the intersection of N. Coblake and Hwy. 19, drive west about 4 1/2 miles to CS 2550. Turn south (left) and drive one mile to CR 1470. Turn east (left) and drive about a quarter of a mile. You will see a beautiful white arch that says "Comanche Indian Cemetery 1934" on the north side of the road. Drive through the arch or take the road immediately to the right of the arch. After less than a quarter of a mile on the tree-lined drive, you will see the sign that says, "Cache Creek Cemetery K-C-A Intertribal Burial Grounds."
If traveling from Hwy. 58, turn east on Hwy. 19 and drive about 6 miles to CS 2550. Turn south (right) and follow the directions given above.
On the way to the Cache Creek Cemetery, you will pass the Cache Creek Mission Cemetery which is a small cemetery about 3/4 of a mile south on CS 2550.
The two cemeteries are less than a half mile mile across a field from each other "as the crow flies" and less than a half mile from each other by car. Because of the similarity of their names, they are often confused. (text by Trapper John)
