Hearn Cemetery is named for Capt Tom Hearn, a Captain in the Civil war. He owned several hundred acres of land in the area.
Cemetery is in three parts. One, Section A, was called Hearn-Abernathy Section and is surrounded by a manmade rock wall, some 3' high.
Second, Section B, was predominately black.
Third, Section C, was predominately white.
Cemetery NOT accessible without owner permission.
