Saints Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery is located on County Route 24 (North Street) in Granville, Washington County, New York. The cemetery is near Mettowee Valley Cemetery, just to the west of the Granville Lanes, 1142 County Route 24. A crushed red slate road leads to the cemetery which is several hundred yards from Route 24. The oldest graves are in the front part of the cemetery. There is a baby section on the right. Much further back is a newer section.

The cemetery has graves of Byzantine (Greek Catholic) and Roman Catholic individuals, mostly with a Rusyn (Ruthenian), Slovak, or Galician origin. In general, the tombstones are in good condition.

Most of the men buried in the cemetery were workers in one of the slate quarries in Granville, New York, or nearby West Pawlet, Pawlet, or Wells, Vermont. A major use of slate was for the roof of a house, as a shingle is used today.
