Travel about 9/10 of one mile down this old railroad track bed (you will be traveling NORTHEAST). On the right will be straight up a hill and on the left straight down to the creek most of the way. When you pass over 3 huge culverts (and obviously a water source which is small), look immediately ahead to your right. The cemetery is on a small hill above the road to the right upon crossing the culverts. One or two headstones are somewhat visible from the road depending on the season. The good gravel trail ends after 3 other dirt/gravel roads/trails shoots off to the right.
Where the 3 roads/trails shoot off to the right is where the entrance to the cemetery is. There is a small wooden sign nailed to a tree about 6-7 feet high at the entrance with "Adkins-Carroll Cementary" spray painted on it. The cemetery isn't really fenced in, and as of October 2012, it is extremely overgrown; visitors should beware of snakes and other creatures and dress appropriately.
It is a large cemetery with many headstones, although only 20 or so are actually marked.
