The Polish War Memorial in St.Peters Cemetery,London,Ontario.Combatant’s Monument

On November 11, 1987, the members of Branch 2 of the Polish Combatants’ Association funded a stone monument to commemorate the Polish soldiers who fought for an independent Poland during World War II. The names of the individuals who fought in the country and abroad are inscribed on the back of the monument. An urn filled with soil from World War II Polish Military Cemeteries in Italy (Monte Cassino, Bologna and Loreto) has been placed at the bottom of the monument.
