Add PhotosThe following directions was taken from the George Miller Cemetery Book. Mr. Leonard McElroy may not live there any more since the book was written in 1979.
The Palmer Family Cemetery is located on the old Palmer Farm along a ridge near the Liberty Baptist Church on Liberty Baptist Church Road in the Rabbit Skin Community of Ironduff. The Palmer Farm was sold years ago and is owned by Mr. Leonard McElroy, who lives on and tends the property. To reach this cemetery follow Jonathan Creek Road to Interstate 40. After passing under the Interstate overpass, a paved road turns off to the right with is Rabbit Skin Road. Continue on this windy road until you reach Miller Gap. Make a sharp left and follow this country road for a mile until you reach the bottom of the hill. At this point is a sign marked with a Forest Ranger Sign: "Report All Fires Here". The cemetery sits at the top of the hill.
