Mary Christine Hall
January 11, 1932 - May 8, 2020
Mary Christine Hall, age 88, of Somerset, KY passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at McCreary Health And Rehab Center.

Mary was born on January 11, 1932 in Science Hill, KY., to the late Carl and Lena Quinton. She worked in the Tolland, CT School System when her children were young and devoted her time learning about antiques. In the 1970's, she opened an antique shop called Cricket House Antiques. She loved to sew, crochet and was a big collector of Hats old and new. Mary married Joseph P. Hall on April 13, 1949 in Nicholasville, KY and his nickname for her was Cricket. In 1988, she and her husband retired and moved back to Somerset, KY. Mary was an active member of the Slate Branch Baptist church serving on committees and as a member of the choir.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, as she was the kindest person anyone could have ever met and loved her family very much.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Bernetta and Richard Hughes of Downingtown, PA, and Brenda Kaye and Jeffrey Schiavetti of Stafford Springs, 6 grandchildren Kate (and Jay) Barimani, Jayme (and Justin) Bavar, Rich (and Holly) Hughes III, Amanda Schiavetti, Joseph (and Kelly) Hughes and Christine Hughes. Also surviving are two beautiful great grandchildren Riley and Jacob Hughes.

Along with her parents, Carl and Lena Quinton, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Hall, four sisters, Edith Calder, Freeda Calder, Betty Vaughn and Wilda New, and three brothers, Charles, John, and James Quinton.

A private Graveside Service for the immediate family will be held at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bill Dawson officiating.
